Rihanna - Birthday Cake (Proper Villains Remix) is a banging new drumstep tune from Proper Villains. Beginning with the sampled Rihanna vocals and a Trap-esque beat, this track goes hard! The drop adds plenty of crunchy bass tones, growls, and lazer synths. I love the drumstep tempo matched with the sensual vocals of Rihanna. Proper villains explained via his soundcloud about the track:

"It aggravated the hell out of me that the song was just an interlude, only about minute long and TOO SHORT TO PLAY IN MY DJ SETS! So....I made this remix basically just to play out, taking a bunch of influences from producers like Figure & Calvertron (whose records I've been playing to death lately). It's definitely a bit faster & more aggressive then my usual stuff, but over all I'm really happy with how it came out."
